Quartzite

Through the passage of time, the shifting and grinding of tectonic plates produced heat and pressure to fuse the properties of quartz-rich sandstone into the unique grey-white mineral known as quartzite. Often found in mountainous and dry regions, Quartzite is an extremely hard and resistant mineral with medium grain and almost no porous properties.
